FAQ

ANSWERS BEFORE YOU BOOK

Pricing, prep, pain, deposits, age policy, and booking expectations — written plainly so you know what to expect before calling Alex.

01

Pricing

How much does a tattoo cost?

Cost depends on size, placement, detail, color, and session length. Alex gives estimates after reviewing the idea, references, and placement. The shop minimum is $100.

02

Deposits

Do I need a deposit?

Yes. Deposits reserve appointment time and are applied to the final price. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferable with proper notice.

03

Age

Do you tattoo minors?

No. Elevated Inkness does not provide tattoo services to anyone under 18. Valid government-issued photo ID is required before tattoo work begins.

04

Prep

How should I prepare?

Sleep well, eat a full meal, hydrate, avoid alcohol and blood thinners, and wear clothing that exposes the tattoo area comfortably.

05

Pain

How painful will it be?

Pain varies by placement, size, and personal tolerance. Ribs, sternum, hands, feet, and inner arm areas often feel more intense.

06

Timing

How long will my session take?

Small tattoos may take under an hour. Larger custom work can require multiple sessions. Alex will set expectations during the consultation call.

07

Design

Can I bring reference images?

Yes. Bring references for direction, not exact copying. Alex designs original work that fits your body and ages well.

08

Booking

Do you take walk-ins?

Walk-ins depend on availability, but custom work is best handled by calling first. A quick consult helps confirm placement, size, budget, and schedule.

09

Policy

What is your cancellation policy?

Please give as much notice as possible. Short-notice cancellations or no-shows may forfeit deposits because that time was reserved for you.
